More Than Exercises. A Guided Experience.

What is Myofunctional Therapy?

Myofunctional therapy uses gentle, targeted exercises to help retrain the muscles of your tongue, lips, and face. It focuses on improving everyday functions such as tongue posture, swallowing patterns, and healthy breathing habits.

Think of it as helping your oral muscles learn healthier habits—something many of us have never been taught to pay attention to!

Who can benefit from this therapy?

Adults and teens experiencing mouth breathing, jaw tension, teeth grinding, headaches, snoring, tongue thrust, or orthodontic concerns may benefit from myofunctional therapy.

Many people have lived with these symptoms for years without realizing their tongue posture, breathing habits, and oral muscle function could play a role.

At MyoBox Therapy, we'll explore your concerns together and determine whether therapy is right for you.

Every session is personalized to your needs and progress. We'll review your goals, practice targeted exercises, and make adjustments as you build healthier habits.

MyoBox Therapy offers both in-person and virtual appointments, allowing you to choose what works best for your lifestyle. With nearly 30 years of hands-on patient care as a dental hygienist, I especially enjoy connecting with patients in person, but you'll receive the same personalized attention and guidance whichever option you choose.
